Of all the transport options available, bicycle hire in La Manga is the perfect way to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the area whilst taking in the sea breeze and getting a bit of exercise. The geographical location of the La Manga Strip divides the Mediterranean sea from the Mar Menor inland sea, and travelling along the strip by bike offers splendid views of both. For those who wish to explore further afield there are roads and hiking/cycling trails that run along the whole of the Mar Menor coastline all the way to its northern point at Lo Pagan where you can visit the famous curative mud baths, or just stop along the way in the villages for a rest or swim.
Surprisingly, there are very few options for bicycle hire in La Manga Resort area or along the strip, although you may find some of the hotels either have their own selection of bikes for hire or offer to have one delivered from one of the nearby towns such as San Javier which is home to Murcia Bike Hire. Alternately if you are not staying in a hotel you can contact them yourself and they will deliver and collect at your accommodation.

Another option is the well established Biking La Manga that is located in the Las Sabinas Commercial Centre in the luxurious La Manga Club Resort, recognised as the most exclusive sporting facility of its kind in Europe. The spectacular resort is set in the foothills of the Mar Menor about 10 minutes drive from the beginning of the La Manga Strip and, aside from their many other sports facilities, are home to the Biking La Manga Race Team. They host all sorts of cycling events throughout the year, weekly group rides and road or mountain bike hire.
